iconectiv CTO and oneM2M representative, Suresh Subramanian will discuss regulations and standards within the Internet of Things (IoT) industry and highlight security updates from oneM2M’s official set of specifications (Release 2) when he takes part in a panel discussion at IoT Security this week.
IoT Security is taking place at the Hynes Convention Center, in Boston, MA, USA from Monday, October 17 to Wednesday, October 19. The event brings together security experts from across the globe to discuss IoT Security, Privacy and Blockchain, including how to establish trust and security in order to unlock the full potential of IoT.
Subramanian will speak on October 19th as part of the Strategic – National & Enterprise stream on the Protocols & Standards track, starting at 12pm.
The panel discussion is titled Discussing different regulations and standards and finding a suitable standards framework. The session will focus on highlighting the importance of interoperability, as well as assessing the range of enabling technologies for IoT. It will also discuss best practice of collaboration strategies along with custom protocols and wireless protocols.
