The future is already with us – how younger users of today’s technology will drive the technology of tomorrow.
The world has changed significantly since the launch of the first smartphones only a few years ago. Mobile video, web and social networking have become the norm and wireless telecom operators are busily rolling out broadband connectivity, which exceeds wired speeds in many areas.
But to really see the potential for future change, we must look to the next generation of users. Throughout that period the technology has been embraced enthusiastically by younger users and this in turn has created new opportunities and steered the industry to adapt to changing patterns of behaviour and usage.
Speakers include: Chris Styles of ARM, Jason Fitzpatrick of Centre for Computing History, Jack Lang of Raspberry Pi Foundation and Steve Marsh of GeoSpock
