Laird signs distributor for Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Poland

Laird Technologies has signed SE Spezial-Electronic as a distributor in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Poland for its wireless M2M products. Laird designs wireless M2M products including proprietary, Zigbee, Bluetooth and wlan radio modules.

SE Spezial-Electronic is a distributor of electronic component and electrical products. The company provides logistic services and customer support.

“Laird Technologies is delighted to add SE Spezial-Electronic as a European distributor for its wireless M2M products,” said Ketan Patel, Laird Technologies European sales and distribution manager for telematics and wireless M2M.

“Leveraging Spezial-Electronic’s outstanding logistical services and intensive customer support enables a broader range of OEMs and system integrators to benefit from Laird Technologies’ full range of wireless modules and embedded solutions.”

Laird is active in the wireless M2M market, offering wireless modules using Bluetooth technology, as well as integrated antennas and electronic components. The company’s M2M products can be used in automotive, telematics, healthcare, EPoS, retail, finance, security and asset management markets.
