Enfora and SeeControl combine on enterprise M2M offering

Enfora, a Novatel Wireless company, and SeeControl, which offers a cloud-based platform for building tailored M2M applications, are combining their expertise to offer enterprises and wireless carriers an enterprise grade M2M system.

The combined set-up will focus on improving visibility, management and operation of remote mobile and fixed assets used in transportation, logistics, security, supply chain and energy operations. The collaboration combines elements of wireless device integration, provisioning and remote data management services from Enfora with the workflow, visualisation and analytics application configuration tools from SeeControl.

Device, network and application components will be merged from each company’s software resulting in a complete system for the enterprise.

“We are pleased to be working with SeeControl to drive this level of capability to enterprise customers,” said Rob Hadley, CMO of Novatel Wireless. “With the combined offering, visibility and management of assets are increased which helps to drive improved productivity with respect to the workforce and workflow for enterprise customers.”

This collaboration expands the existing relationship between Enfora and SeeControl, who have previously worked together to fuse the Enfora Spider AT asset tracking device and N4A communications and management software platform into SeeControl’s cloud-based application builder for monitoring and managing remote assets for an enterprise.

“Enfora has been helping customers across the globe reduce M2M complexity with a range of leading devices and innovative management software,” said Bryan Kester, CEO of SeeControl.

“Now, with this turnkey suite, it’s easier than ever to deploy an intelligent asset network that automatically acts on real-time M2M data – across distributed operations and existing enterprise platforms.”
