M2M DataSmart and GenX Mobile aim to speed up getting M2M devices to market

M2M DataSmart and GenX Mobile have announced a new partnership where GenX Mobile can now offer customers an integrated M2M service ‘out-of-the box’, by providing the hardware as well as the airtime services as a joint sales strategy between both firms.

M2M DataSmart uses Sprint’s network in the US as a CDMA Wireless Data Network Enabler (MVNE). They offer a wireless connectivity and service platform pipeline for their M2M devices – providing nationwide data throughput.

With this joint sales strategy, M2M DataSmart will provide airtime services that can be structured and priced specifically to each M2M application.

This will combine with the GenX Mobile products portfolio, to enable CDMA data services for a wide variety of market and industry requirements.

GenX Mobile

“We provide a managed, implementation service for the M2M customer, that will maximise his or her ROI. By joining with M2M DataSmart we will provide a managed wireless airtime service to commercial products of traditional OEMs that have no wireless experience themselves. Hardware and airtime must be hip-to-hip in the supply chain – but they have not been (to date),” said David Mleczko, COO of GenX Mobile.
