Encore Networks announced the signing of a reseller agreement with Machine-to-Machine integrator, Access Wireless Data Solutions.
Access Wireless will sell, engineer and service Encore’s entire BANDIT line of rugged routers with emphasis on the C2C, Encore’s cellular replacement of plain old telephone services (POTs) copper line based M2M applications.
Available in both commercial and ruggedised, industrial versions, Encore’s BANDIT routers are designed for M2M applications in harsh network environments.
Encore’s library of legacy protocols enables Access Wireless to evaluate customer needs and assist in determining the best network solutions while preserving existing legacy gear and reducing capital expenditures.
The C2C is a high-availability, full featured, broadband wireless router designed to support demanding M2M applications.
The C2C moves data to a public or private IP cellular infrastructure removing the dependence on copper lines while providing VPN technology with encryption.
“Our objective is not to be just a mega reseller of hardware. Instead, we focus on the relationship we have with our client’s and the value-added approach we take to be a strategic business partner rather than just a vendor,” stated David Schwarz, president of Access Wireless Data Solutions. “Encore’s BANDIT helps us to achieve that goal by offering a family of products that provides a graceful migration to IP bringing together a combination of legacy data protocols, security functions, and management tools that both the enterprise user wants and the service provider demands.”
