Manchester, New Hampshire, USA — Cadec Global, Inc., a company providing enterprise-class fleet management systems, reports that its PowerVue solution now utilises Verizon Wireless’ M2M Management Center to deploy and manage devices for its fleet customers with devices on the Verizon Wireless Network. The M2M Management Center reportedly enables Cadec to simplify and enhance the process of managing communications between drivers and fleet managers.

Among PowerVue’s features are:

* Optimised networking device performance: The M2M Management Center helps the PowerVue solution verify that devices are connected to the Verizon Wireless network and to monitor whether customers’ devices are operating at peak performance, thus enhancing the exchange of real-time data on vehicle mileage, workflow, fuel economy and driver performance.
* Simplified device deployment and activation: Cadec now can deploy devices on the Verizon Wireless network in one day or less, expediting the time in which fleet customers can start monitoring real-time data from their vehicles.

“Our deployment of the Verizon Wireless M2M Management Center is another way for Cadec to improve efficiencies for our fleet customers, for which real-time data exchange and communications are critical,” said Jon Bernstein, CEO of Cadec. “Cadec is focused on helping our customers improve fleet performance and enabling them to make the best business decisions in dispatch, logistics and other pertinent facets of their operations.”

Established in 1976, Cadec Global provides enterprise-class fleet management solutions that empower fleets to drive continuous cost reduction and service improvement, while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety. Cadec’s software-as-a-service (SaaS)-based solution evolves with the needs of growing fleets, from basic Electronic On-Board Recorder (EOBR) reporting to true real-time data accessibility and configurable workflow.

This enables fleet managers, maintenance departments, and supply chain executives to make smarter decisions, increasing their competitive advantage by operating more efficiently and with the highest standards of customer service.
