Bodmin, Cornwall, UK. August 27, 2012 — UK-based CORMAC Solutions Ltd is looking to appoint a “suitably skilled” supplier to deliver a vehicle tracking solution for its fleet of over 500 vehicles. The solution should be capable of providing detailed information to the business to allow it to maximise the use of its vehicle, staff and plant resources in order to achieve the maximum return on investment.
The solution should, says CORMAC, include the ability to track vehicles and is being sought by international competitive bid. It must also include specialist functions such as managing the fleet’s winter maintenance and heavy quarry plant, analysing driver behaviour and driver telematics, managing satellite navigation and routing, driver identification, in-cab messaging, mobile working and other associated services.
CORMAC Solutions Ltd delivers in-house services for the Cornwall Council and the wider public through partnership with town and parish councils, local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and social enterprise groups, providing a complete solution and helping local communities grow and thrive in a sustainable way.
The contract has a duration of five years, commencing from the award of the contract. The time limit for receipt of requests for documents or for accessing documents is 15:00 hours (UK) on Monday September 17, 2012.
