Bob Emmerson is an English national living in the Netherlands. He holds a degree in electronic engineering and mathematics from London University and now works as a freelance writer, part-time consultant and ‘industry observer.’ Bob writes about Information and Communications Technology for various technical and business publications.  In addition he has written three books, produced three market reports for the Financial Times, as well as a number of white papers.  Bob’s current focus is M2M communications and advanced networking.
