M2M smart services among the key themes at World Smart Week 2013 this September in Nice

Nice, France – The organisers of World Smart Week have unveiled four ICT topics to be addressed in September 2013 by eminent keynote. This year M2M for the first time will be at the heart of the event, under the banner “2013 M2M Services Innovation Sources“.

Combining four conferences and an exhibition, the event is expected to attract over 1,700 participants around M2M, mobile, contactless, e-ID and digital security technologies.

World Smart Week aims to set the stage for the all the technology and service providers building a “trusted mobile life” in information and communications technology (ICT). For four days, on September 24-27, 2013, in Nice‘s Acropolis Convention Centre, this global tech event will bring together professionals from machine-to-machine (M2M), mobile, contactless, e-ID and digital security industries.

The event’s four conferences will feature a total line-up of more than 250 speakers. World Smart Week is presenting four key topics to be addressed at the four conferences:
• M2M Innovation World Congress
• NFC World Congress
• World e-ID Congress, and
• Chip-to-Cloud Security Forum.

By combining four complementary conferences and an exhibition, World Smart Week will explore the innovation and business opportunities of mobile proximity/NFC, e-ID, M2M and digital security. The whole event is designed to foster exchanges between its 1,700 expected participants from 75 countries, and to do so this global forum will provide:

• High value contents delivered by 250+ speakers all experts/leaders in their domain;
• A 50-booth exhibition showcasing the latest solutions bringing an “easier trusted mobile life”;
• Rich event experience through multiple parallel events: hands-on, live demos, workshops, social events, etc.

As the organisers, Strategies Telecoms & Multimedia, said: “Despite clear benefits shown in public and private sectors implementations, the full potential of M2M services is often not fully achieved.
