ZyXEL and GreenPocket enter into new product partnership

GreenPocket and ZyXEL have announced the launch of their smart home cooperation. At this year’s E-world GreenPocket will be premiering its smart home solution with ZyXEL’s SHG3305 Smart Home Service Gateway.

“We’re pleased to have won a strong hardware partner. The SHG3305 gateway is the perfect access point for our new smart home package”, commented Dr. Thomas Goette, GreenPocket CEO.

The SHG3305 gateway supports a variety of functions and services for more energy efficiency, convenience and safety in the home.

In combination with GreenPocket’s smart home software, the gateway enables the targeted control and automation of heating systems as well as electrical and domestic devices or of entire rooms.

The user can operate the solution quickly and simply via various devices including tablet PCs or via smartphones.

The solution is based on the wireless standard Z-Wave via which the individual hardware components, like actuators and sensors, are controlled.

Sebastian Richter, Project Engineer at ZyXEL is also delighted about the new collaboration: “Both companies complement each other ideally with their know-how. Fusing our technical competence into a smart home solution is therefore a logical step.”
