Thermocable chooses Concirrus for connected solutions

London, UK – Concirrus Ltd, a market leader in turnkey solutions in the Internet of Things, has announced that Thermocable has launched a range of innovative connected solutions for the security and facilities markets based on the Concirrus Cloud platform.

Thermocable has worked with the Concirrus team to create a range of ‘connected’ solutions that combine Thermocable’s patented linear detection cable technologies with the Concirrus Cloud platform and M2M devices. The result is a series of products that can detect overheat, water leak detection, and freezing pipes and when combined with the Concirrus Cloud platform customers can now be alerted in near real-time to events happening in the field.

Andrew Rayner, Managing Director of Thermocable, stated: “We chose Concirrus because of their reputation and reach in the market. We’ve been thrilled with the partnership approach that we have experienced with their team and the launch of our range of connected products we believe will transform our business”.

Speaking about the announcement, Craig Hollingworth, COO Concirrus said: “Thermocable represents everything that’s great about British engineering and innovation. With what we think is a unique set of products, they have set about solving very timely and relevant business issues – fire, flood and water damage warnings. We’re delighted to have them as a customer!”

Andrew Yeoman, CEO, Concirrus added: “The Internet of Things is essentially about providing more and better information such that decisions can be better or quicker. In the insurance market water damage from leaks and floods are a huge problem – this solution now allows businesses to detect these events in real-time and take action to minimise losses. By using the Concirrus platform and services, Thermocable have been able to get their products out to a wider market far quicker than otherwise possible”.
