Anglia M2M extends antenna portfolio

Wisbech, UK – Anglia M2M has announced a greatly extended portfolio of M2M wireless antennas for GSM/GPRS, GPS, WiFi, WiMax, ZigBee, Bluetooth and LTE applications, following its appointment as UK and Ireland distributor for Hirschmann and Bloomice antennas.

The new Hirschmann and Bloomice antenna ranges bring Anglia customers over 35 new families of antennas that complement the existing Anglia M2M product offering. These include single-band 2.4GHz, quad-band and penta-band solutions, in straight, embedded and patch formats with a number of interconnect formats. As a result, Anglia can now offer standard, embedded and patch antennas in many more formats for all of the popular wireless communications protocols and wavebands used in embedded applications. Key Hirschmann and Bloomice products will be available on Anglia Live on a same day shipment basis.

According to Tim Clayton, Divisional Marketing Manager for Anglia M2M: “The performance of the antenna has a major impact on the overall performance of an embedded wireless platform – but finding space for it is always a challenge. By adding two major new ranges to the Anglia M2M portfolio, we are providing our customers with a great many more options in their search for the perfect antenna to integrate into their system. Hirschmann and Bloomice are used by some of the industry’s most respected names in a host of applications from high speed trains to vending machines. We are looking forward to working with our customers to finding new applications for these effective and well-engineered antennas”.

He continued: “Anglia M2M will be a key partner for these two suppliers, in taking their products to the UK and Ireland market. With a portfolio that already includes top module manufacturers for all the major wireless technologies used for industrial applications, we are in a very strong position to identify new opportunities for them, and have the expertise and insight to design them in”.

Anglia M2M offers technology from industry leaders like Cinterion wireless modules, ConnectBlue WiFi solutions, GlobalTop GPS receivers and Avago WiMax technology. Alongside, it offers airtime packages, power supplies and a wide variety of accessories such as cables, connectors and adaptors allowing customers to source a complete embedded wireless connectivity solution from one supplier.  Anglia M2M is part of Anglia Embedded, which offers technologies such as KOE displays and Advantech embedded computing platforms.
