Global technology giants including Google, LG, Intel, Samsung and IBM are among the speakers already confirmed for The Wearable Technology Show, which returns to London for its second outing in 2015.
Taking place on 10-11 March in its new home at ExCeL, the show – the world’s largest dedicated wearables event – also boasts a significantly bigger exhibition with twice as many exhibitors and product launches than last year. The event will also be co-located with the Augmented Reality Show for the first time, giving visitors access to the UK’s premier event for AR, VR and smart glasses.
More than 80 exhibitors including Intel, Jawbone, Misfit, Samsung and Withings will be at the Wearable Technology Show next month (double the 2014 figure) to launch hundreds of mind-blowing devices to buyers, researchers, developers and journalists from a wide range of industries including retail, sports, health and fitness, medical, business, architecture and entertainment.
This year, the show features four distinct zones – Innovation; Fitness and iHealth; Smart Textiles and Fashion; and Wrist Innovation – plus the Augmented Reality Show. Some of the very latest prototypes and start ups will also be showcased in the Innovation Village.
On the educational side, over 200 speakers will take part in the conference programme, which features nine dedicated tracks, including Innovation & IOT; Wearable Start Up; Augmented Reality; Smart Textiles & Fashion; Connected Living; Medical, Performance Sports; Products, Payments & Retail; and Enterprise & M2M. The conference offers delegates a unique opportunity to hear from some of the leading experts in wearable technology, view the latest product demonstrations from around the world and network with the industry.

The show also hosts The Wearable Technology Start-Up Competition, a dedicated Hackfest and The Wearables Awards, the winners of which are announced at the after show networking party on 10 March at the Fox Pub next to ExCeL. Last year Wearables winners included Reebok, Fleksy and Virgin Atlantic.
