Stream Technologies, has announced the appointment of Kurt Kelley as vice president for strategic partnerships. Based in Dallas, Kelley will focus on developing relationships with carriers, resellers and other industry partners in the U.S. and around the globe.
Kelley joins Stream directly from Verizon Wireless, where he served in multiple capacities over six years, most recently responsible machine-to-machine (M2M) and vertical solutions providers as well as managing their solutions lab. Kelley joined Verizon as a result of their acquisition of Alltel where he worked as a data solutions engineer focused primarily on the oil and gas industry.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Kelley has also run his own IT consulting business and worked in network services across bearer technologies, making him an ideal fit for the entrepreneurial team’s core value of unified access across wired and wireless technologies.
“Kurt brings a wealth of knowledge and experience,” according to Lawrence Latham, chief marketing officer at Stream. “Moreover, his style meshes well with the Stream Experience: an innovative approach with a can-do, customer-first focus.”
“I’m delighted to be joining Stream at this important moment in their business” Kelley says. “Particularly exciting is the opportunity to build another channel of distribution and create new revenue streams for Stream and our clients that weren’t there before.”
