Intamac announces opening of new UK office in Cambridge

Intamac, an IoT enabler and innovator, is opening a new office at Milton Hall in Cambridge. The move follows strong growth for the Northampton headquartered company. Ten members of Intamac’s IoT technical team will be based from the new Cambridge facility, with further expansion planned.

Commenting on the announcement, David Perez, CEO at Intamac said: “We are thrilled about the opening of our new Centre of Technical Excellence in Cambridge and are looking forward to being part of the Cambridge technology cluster. We are experiencing a period of rapid expansion due to increasing demand for our IoT products and services from blue chip partners around the world. This is an exciting step for Intamac.”

According to a recent Tech City report, Cambridge is one the UK’s most successful technology hubs. In recent years Cambridge has seen fourteen of its technology start-ups valued at $1billion+ (£642million+), an achievement unmatched by any other UK regional cluster.

Intamac has over a decade of experience in the IoT sector and was companies to bring connected products to market. Since its initial work with BT, offering home security systems, the company’s portfolio has expanded to utilise other IoT technologies, from those requiring connectivity (such as consumer electronics manufacturers) to service providers (such as facilities owners).
