Internet of Things experts to share insight on security at Las Vegas event.

TMC and Crossfire Media announced the Security Summit at IoT Evolution Expo, held August 17-20, 2015, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. IoT Evolution Expo is directed at companies interested in understanding how to develop, integrate and deploy Internet of Things (IoT) strategies. On Monday, August 17, 2015 from 12PM to 3PM, the Security Summit will provide guidance, thought leadership and sound advice on how to ensure the integrity and security of the network of intelligent interconnected devices.

“With all the reporting on data breaches of users’ information, the fear mongering about attaching things has never been higher. However, the attaching of machine security has always been part of the internet. Today’s concerns have to be understood in the context of all attachment applications and not just the network,” said Carl Ford, CEO, Crossfire Media, executive director of content, IoT Evolution. “This summit will be your guide to hardening your solutions and implementations to better your current method of security with the new devices and applications attached to your network.”
The Security Summit program includes:

  • Protecting and Defending the Edge- Find out how to handle critical issues in developing, managing and securing the edge devices in an IoT Network.
