Cloud-Clout aims to shake up cloud data storage with ‘100% bulletproof’ protection from hackers and governments

cloud clout

Cloud-Clout (#cloudclout) unveiled its ground-breaking cloud-powered data storage system.  Fully secure and always reliable, Cloud-Clout encrypts and fragments users’ data across multiple servers around the world to deliver 100% bulletproof protection, and is the perfect data security solution for consumers worried about their data being stolen by hackers and government intelligence agencies.  A Kickstarter campaign (http://bit.ly/cloud-clout) to fund the platform’s final development is now LIVE and has a funding goal of $50,000USD.

What makes Cloud-Clout’s software so unique and innovative is that it utilises a redundant array of independent clouds to prevent data loss and ensure that users’ files are always accessible.  Because of this, users never have to worry if any one server is down or performing slowly.  By working with multiple clouds that provide the highest speed at any given moment, Cloud-Clout simply ignores broken or slower servers and moves to ones with the highest speed.  For users, this means their data is ALWAYS accessible and from anywhere.

Using Cloud-Clout is easy and simple as users need only register on four different cloud-based services (i.e.: Google Drive, Box.net, etc), to start, and then Cloud-Cloud diffuses the user’s data amongst them.  When it’s time to retrieve the data, users simply launch the Cloud-Clout app to access all of the connected clouds to see all of their data in one folder.  What’s more, users can easily synchronize their data among their connected devices (i.e.: Smartphone, Tablet, laptop, PC, etc.)

A free, Alpha version of Cloud-Clout (with limited functionality) is currently available for Android users to test out at: http://www.cloud-clout.com/download/

“Think of Cloud-Clout as your central storage of personal data on the internet that you can save and retrieve your digital assets from anywhere in the world from any internet enabled device,” said Eugene Shulha, founder, Cloud-Clout.  “Users have the ability to access their data using any mobile device, laptop, desktop, and tablet.  We put security first when we designed our solution and this is our biggest differentiator when compared to our competitors in the industry.”

Unlike many of the industry’s biggest companies, Cloud-Clout will never grant access to governmental or outside agencies.  By spreading the encrypted files across a multitude of servers in different countries, no one government can access users’ files, and any hacker would have to hurdle near-impossible obstacles to breach Cloud-Clout’s security.

To complement the system, Cloud-Clout’s mobile app for both iOS and Android offers complete access to files anytime, anywhere, and delivers full protection even while travelling or using a public Wi-Fi network.  Equally, users have the choice of accessing the platform through their smartphone or with a Web/PC interface.  This means users can keep their personal information confidential while away from home and are just as protected from cyber attacks, identity theft and malware while on the road.  Thus, by losing a device, users will never lose their data again, meaning it is much safer to store data on the Internet than in a safe or a pocket!
