GlobalPlatform has announced Simulity Labs Ltd as its latest Observer Member.
Based in the United Kingdom, Simulity is a software company specialising in embedded communications software and related server-based applications. As an Observer Member, Simulity is able to engage with the GlobalPlatform Advisory Council, and will initially prioritise participation in the association’s Internet of Things (IoT) Task Force.
“At Simulity, we are working to develop solutions that will enable every device to be connected, with no compromise on quality, security or privacy,” commented Stephane Fund, founder and CEO at Simulity. “With GlobalPlatform playing an increasingly prominent role across the IoT and embedded UICC (eUICC) space, it is imperative that we are able to react to, and implement, the latest specifications. By utilising the various resources available to GlobalPlatform Members, such as test suites and documents, we can ensure that our products achieve the requisite levels of security, functionality and interoperability.”
