Telit, a global enabler of the Internet of Things (IoT), has added broadband data plans to its Pan-European connectivity services introduced in July 2015.
The expanded offering includes IoT mobile broadband packages up to 2Gb of data and a free 100Mbintroductory trial. Focused on IoT, Telit provides one simple agreement for all its connectivity services with attractive pricing that includes roaming across operator networks in Europe, Russia and Turkey. Telit’s IoT Connectivity service includes comprehensive Connectivity Management tools for managing and troubleshooting IoT deployments, such as remote network steering and real-time performance monitoring.
Industrial IoT deployments face different challenges than those in the consumer sector. Many connectivity offers are not suitable for the lifecycle of an IoT solution, says Telit, because they lack the ability to predict and manage costs and support remotely deployed devices.
“Telit’s new Pan-European broadband plans address the rising needs coming from customers deploying new and innovative types of IoT applications that require much higher data usage with coverage across multiple countries,” said Sammy Yahiaoui, IoT Services sales manager EMEA at Telit. “Our scalable off-the-shelf IoT Connectivity services take the guesswork out of managing cost and performance by eliminating the complexity of managing to multiple carriers. The built-in analytics and control functions give customers an easy way to analyse their IoT deployments and provide instant visibility of their business performance.”
The Telit pan-European IoT connectivity service provides seamless roaming for Europe, including Russia and Turkey, with one roaming price for all operators. Along with simplified, easy-to-manage pricing, users also get features such as roaming steering controlled by the customer, and billing which is retroactively optimised according to actual usage.
