Industrial IoT – It’s about more than just the IoT….

The first thing to note about Industrial IoT is that it encompasses all of IoT and more.

If we define ‘IoT’ as our connected future (including devices, services, new business models and new ways of interaction) then, behind every one of these propositions, we should expect to find an enterprise of some form. In short anything that is ‘IoT’ from an end-user perspective, is ‘Industrial IoT’ from the perspective of companies supporting that IoT proposition.
