u-blox, a global provider of wireless and positioning modules and chips, has officially inaugurated a new office in Taipei, Taiwan.
The move to larger facilities comes with a growing business in response to Taiwan’s booming telematics and Internet of Things (IoT) markets.
Ming Chiang, country manager of u-blox Taiwan, says: “This new office attests to u-blox’s expansion in Taiwan. It was necessary for us to move to a bigger office to accommodate a growing Customer support and Marketing team, which is fully dedicated to answering customers’ needs in a timely manner.”
Swiss u-blox provides wireless and positioning semiconductors and modules for the automotive, industrial and consumer markets. u-blox solutions enable people, vehicles and machines to locate their exact position and communicate wirelessly over cellular and short range networks.
With headquarters in Thalwil, Switzerland, u-blox is globally present with offices in Europe, Asia and the USA.The new facility is strategically located in a well-known business district of Taipei.
