SIM extension is to be smart access solution for IoT and M2M outdoor applications

GTT has released a SIM extension solution, which aims to provide direct, simple access to SIM cards in Internet of Things and Machine-to-Machine (IoT and M2M) applications in remote, harsh outdoor environments.

This specialist product has been developed to meet demand for easier access to change SIM’s securely in remote outdoor applications, such as gateways routers and small cells.image002image001

GTT Europe director, Kieron Malloy, said: “This is just one of many innovative msmart-modular-modules for the GTT msmart-box solution for IoT and M2M applications in harsh environments.

image003Other GTT msmart modules includes RJ45 Ethernet, CAT6 Ethernet, RJ11 Data, USB3.0, LED, System Reset and POWER.”

He added: “For industrial applications this is the smart solution to easier access to SIMs in applications in remote harsh environments.”
