Litmus Automation’s LoopEdge gateway software earns certification on HPE Edgeline IoT gateways

Litmus Automation, an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform provider, announced a partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) by joining the HPE Technology Partner Program and achieving certification with Litmus LoopEdge gateway software and HPE Edgeline IoT Gateways.

With the partnership, customers can now purchase an HPE Edgeline IoT Gateway and run Litmus LoopEdge immediately out of the box for a hardware and software combination that enables Industrial IoT applications.

LoopEdge simplifies the complexity of creating IIoT solutions, providing connectivity through almost any industrial legacy protocol, management of many gateways at once, and access to a marketplace of applications that can be used on the data being aggregated within the gateway.

Deploying LoopEdge on HPE Edgeline IoT Gateways takes only minutes, and installation is as simple as either plugging in a USB when turning on the device for the first time, or interfacing via Litmus’ Loop device manager.

“Companies are facing many challenges with implementing IIoT solutions from solving problems at the edge when working in legacy environments to accessing data in the cloud,” said Olivier Frank, worldwide senior sales director and alliances IoT, HPE.

“Now, with HPE Edgeline Gateways combined with LoopEdge, they have access to an incredible combination of hardware and software making it easier to get started with IoT, collecting and analysing valuable data at the edge.”

“LoopEdge running on HPE Edgeline IoT Gatways provides an industrial-grade, networked solution to deliver secure connectivity for great insight using data at the edge,” said Vatsal Shah, CEO/co-founder of Litmus Automation.

“We are pleased to partner with HPE at this stage and are excited about combining the power of their intelligent gateways with our software so industrial companies can quickly access and use the data in their field and factory environments to drive better business operations.”

Companies can now collect data into an HPE Edgeline IoT Gateway from any third-party legacy device or industrial system with a codeless drag and drop interface provided by LoopEdge. Once data is collected, processed and filtered, LoopEdge provides secure connectivity to the Loop platform.

This solution allows device management down to the edge as well as data normalisation before it is seamlessly integrated to various enterprise systems for analysis, visualisation and increased ROI. HPE offers several levels of hardware which dictate the complexity of the analytics that can be performed at the edge.
