FreeWave Technologies, Inc., a provider in industrial, secure Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) wireless networking solutions, announced the addition of Jim Bolotin to its executive leadership team as chief financial officer.

With more than 20 years of experience in senior finance roles, Bolotin brings a unique set of qualifications to help FreeWave continue to expand its operations and leadership in the industrial IoT marketplace.

“We are very excited to bring Jim onto our leadership team,” said Kim Niederman, CEO of FreeWave. “We were looking for someone with a breadth of experience in many different industries and vertical markets, and Jim’s success at each of his stops is a perfect indication of the kind of qualities we value in this company. We look forward to our continued growth with Jim playing an integral role in our ongoing development.”

Prior to joining FreeWave, Bolotin served as the vice president, controller and chief accounting officer of Truven Health Analytics.

Bolotin also spent time in similar senior finance roles in both large manufacturing companies (U.S. Robotics) and mid-sized manufacturers (Eagle Test Systems), as well as the chief financial officer of two privately held companies. He is a CPA in the state of Illinois with a M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. in Accounting from Marquette University.

“FreeWave is in a position to experience significant growth in the near future, and I look forward to joining the team for that journey,” Bolotin said. “I value the opportunity to work with a company that prides itself on quality, security and reliability in all facets of its operations.”
