Litmus Automation and HMS Industrial Networks partner to offer a complete IIoT gateway solution

Litmus Automation, an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform provider, and HMS Industrial Networks, an industrial communication networking provider recently announced an end-to-end IIoT solution with LoopEdge installed on the HMS Edge Gateway.

By utilising LoopEdge on the HMS Edge Gateway, data can be aggregated from any industrial protocol and passed to the Loop IIoT platform for further processing and monitoring. The solution allows for device management down to the edge and data normalisation before it seamlessly integrates data to various enterprise systems.

“HMS is a leading supplier of hardware and software for industrial communications and our partnership has created an ideal solution for industrial OEMs and machine builders, as well as manufacturing companies,” said Vatsal Shah, co-founder and CEO of Litmus Automation.

Litmus Automation and HMS will be co-exhibiting at the Mobile World Congress in San Francisco, Sept. 12-14 at Hall North Stand N.208. Demonstrations will show LoopEdge running on the HMS Edge Gateway, collecting and processing data from various PLCs and managing devices, then processing and visualising the data in the cloud using the Loop IIoT platform.

“We have been impressed with Litmus’ LoopEdge solution, which integrates Litmus software on to our NB301 edge gateway hardware to create a simple out-of-the-box solution for capturing data off machines,” said Kevin Knake, executive vice president of HMS Industrial Networks. “The solution makes it easy for industrial customers to access valuable data enabling more efficient business operations.”

The HMS NB301 gateway is available for purchase pre-loaded with LoopEdge for a complete IIoT solution.
