On September 28th, ThinkandGo and Mediatransports will unveil the first Connected Screen for information and ticket sales at Aix-en-Provence TGV (high speed train) station in France.
By the end of the year, tens of screens will follow in major train and parisian metro stations, to deliver services to travellers, on top of traditional advertising on screens.
The providers see it as a new phase of Digital Signage, engaging travellers through immediate near field communications (NFC) interaction. The screen will enable users to grab a coupon, book a show, make a donation, and they say it will soon become the daily routine for thousands of people waiting for their train or metro.
Meet the providers T&G on September 28th at Aix TGV « The Camp » Opening Tour – Aix-en-Provence.
