Navitel Navigator update for iPhone and iPad

NAVITEL® released a new version of Navitel Navigator for iPhone and iPad. The updated application builds routes faster and displays route exit numbers on the screen of a mobile device. Navitel Navigator 9.9 comes with improved routing for trucks and advanced algorithm for route time calculation when crossing a state border.

In the new version the performance of the application has increased. This significant improvement allows to build routes faster and use less memory for the task.

Navitel Navigator 9.9 features updated routing for trucks. Truck drivers can specify the type of the vehicle in the main menu of the application. After that, Navitel Navigator will build routes taking into account the existing restrictions for trucks.

The navigational app introduces a new algorithm for calculation of required time for routes across state borders. Navitel Navigator calculates route time based on estimated delays at border crossing points. This helps drivers get a realistic idea of the arrival time at the beginning of their trip.

Navitel Navigator 9.9 features:

    • improved routing in tunnels;
    • new voice package in Finnish;
    • display of route exit numbers.

Minor improvements that enhance the stability of the application have been made.

iPhone and iPad users can download the latest update from AppStore (iTunes).
