Netsnapper has announced that it will be supporting a number of the Testbeds selected to showcase real demonstrations of Industrial IoT in action at the IoT Solutions World Congress in Barcelona (3-5 October 2017).
The company, which recently became one of the newest members of the Industrial Internet Consortium, is providing its seamless encrypted connectivity solutions to support Schneider Electric, Micron and Kaspersky with their respective Testbeds at the event. Visitors will be able to experience these along with the other nine solutions chosen by the Program Committee in a dedicated Testbed Area of over 500m2.
Combining software driven security approaches with network optimisation, seamless and persistent connectivity, and device & mobility access management tools, Netsnapper provides an open, efficient and securely encrypted platform for the future of the Industrial Internet of Things. Its technology deploys on servers, routers, devices and endpoints to provide security and connectivity with multi-carrier redundancies, offering zero impact to real-time services due to carrier switching.
Robert Jones, VP Sales and Product at Netsnapper, said: “We’re very excited to be working to help enable some of the Testbeds that will be on display at what is the biggest Industrial IoT event worldwide. These experimentation platforms are specifically designed to demonstrate how new technologies can be usefully deployed and fuel R&D ideas and opportunities.
We hope attendees will go away from the event with a better understanding of the technology solutions out there that can improve the security, management and connectivity in modern Industrial IoT networks.”
