This first-of-its-kind service natively leverages over 19 million indicators of compromise (IoCs) contributed to OTX on a daily basis by a global community of 80,000 participants. With the ability to run queries against the latest threat intelligence in OTX pulses, OTX Endpoint Threat Hunter makes it simple and fast to get threat visibility of critical endpoints in IT environments. OTX Endpoint Threat Hunter is powered by the AlienVault Agent, a lightweight and adaptable endpoint agent based on OSQuery that executes pre-defined queries using one or more OTX pulses. The AlienVault Agent is simple and fast to install on Windows, Linux hosts, and any endpoint devices.
With other free, open source approaches to endpoint agents, it can be difficult to deploy, to know what to query, and to correlate this information with the latest threat data. OTX Endpoint Threat Hunter removes the complexity and guesswork while still providing a free security service available to all, enabling security practitioners to quickly identify if any of their critical endpoints have been impacted or compromised with malware or other threats.
