Inseego Corp. a provider in solutions for intelligent mobile enterprises, unveiled two new industrial-grade 4G Internet of Things (IoT) solutions supporting a spectrum of LTE technologies for a multitude of use cases. These innovative additions to the award-winning Skyus portfolio of IoT solutions provide affordable, reliable and secure cellular connectivity for fixed or mobile deployments.
As 4G network coverage improved over the last several years, Industrial IoT markets continued to benefit from expanded capabilities of 4G LTE technologies. The Skyus portfolio is purpose built for enterprise IoT applications, allowing enterprises to expand the reach of their corporate connectivity beyond their central locations.
Specifically, enterprises are deploying Skyus solutions for IoT applications such as digital signage, retail kiosk connectivity, SD-WAN failover, smart city connectivity, machine-to-machine communications, remote management, asset tracking and intelligent transportation.
The expansion of the Skyus portfolio includes gateways, routers and USB devices that specifically meet the demanding requirements of IoT applications. For quick, plug-and-play deployments, the globally certified Skyus SC series of devices offers a lower cost USB connectivity solution built to withstand extremely harsh operating environments.
For deployments that rely on a combination of cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth networking and GPS for tracking purposes, the Skyus 100 series edge gateways target numerous IoT use cases and enable seamless machine connectivity with a wide variety of equipment.

- The Skyus 100 Series is a gateway platform that offers numerous connectivity options and industrial-grade reliability at an economical price point. The initial offerings feature Cat-1 and Cat-4 LTE speeds with GPS and a 12-hour backup battery to address specific IoT applications.
- The Skyus 110 family offers variants of a versatile LTE Cat-1 gateway with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, USB and 4-pin interfaces to enable use cases with low data demands, such as cold storage management, in-vehicle connectivity, out of band management, digital signage, point-of-sale and asset tracking.
- The Skyus 140 family offers a high-speed LTE Cat-4 gateway that expands on the capabilities of the Skyus 110. With download speeds of up to 150 Mbps, the Skyus 140 enables customers to support higher data applications such as SD-WAN failover, remote infrastructure management, HD surveillance and infotainment.
- The Skyus SC Series is a fully certified USB device in an industrial grade aluminum package, available in LTE Cat-M1, NB-IoT, Cat-1 and Cat-4 variants. With features such as onboard app space and connection management, the Skyus SC simplifies the integration needed to provide basic connectivity to any IoT custom computing solution or as a primary or failover solution. It is well suited for agriculture, manufacturing, metering and enterprise SD-WAN environments.
