Problem
The Coupe serves early birds, night owls and everyone in between as a 24-hour restaurant in Washington, D.C. Located in Columbia Heights, the all-purpose restaurant occupies a 7,000 square-foot space with a 160-foot storefront. As the restaurant was being built and preparing to open, The Coupe’s owner consulted local security integrator, Urban Alarm, to design a surveillance solution.
Solution
Urban Alarm installed 13 ACTi 1101 bullet cameras and dome cameras throughout the interior and exterior of the restaurant. To complete the surveillance system, Urban Alarm also installed their dealer-built server and exacqVision Start video management system (VMS) software. The exacqVision Start VMS client allows The Coupe to connect up to 16 IP cameras to the system simultaneously.
