Advantech signs strategic AIoT agreement with Dutch systems integrator HPS Industrial

Bart Meesterburrie of Advantech

Eindhoven, 7th December 2021 – Advantech, a global provider of IoT systems and embedded platforms, has announced a new co-operation agreement with a Netherlands-based provider of the assembly, construction and configuration of industrial computer and network solutions.

The focus channel partner agreement will see HPS Industrial distribute Advantech technologies with a strong focus on the company’s acclaimed AI portfolio. The deal represents a further example of Advantech’s commitment to collaborating with specialist partners to enable the delivery of customer- and sector-specific solutions across a broad spectrum of applications.

A global provder of artificial intelligence (AI), Advantech offers an extensive range of edge AI modules, AI inference systems, edge intelligence servers and IoT gateways all geared to accelerating Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) development for its global customer base.

HPS Industrial supplies systems for applications with high demands for reliability and long-term availability, combining technologies including panel and box PCs, industrial gateway PCs, embedded computer boards, Industrial touch panels, HMI screens and industrial wired and wireless network products, as well as AI technologies.

Bart Meesterburrie, IIoT channel manager – Benelux at Advantech, explains, “AIoT has the potential to deliver enormous benefits across multiple applications. But it is very clear that working with a single supplier of technologies will not allow a customer to harness those advantages for commercial gain.

“What is needed is an ecosystem of suppliers and that is what we have created and will continue to develop at Advantech. We allow other stakeholders to bring their own specialist knowledge and technologies to the table to deliver complete application-specific solutions.

“The agreement with HPS Industrial an acknowledged expert and leader in system integration will allow them to access our technologies to support their customer projects and allow those customers to benefit fully from the capabilities of AIoT.”

“We are pleased to expand our product portfolio with the innovative AI products of Advantech,” says Erik Seijner of HPS Industrial. “We have been a reliable partner for industrial automation for almost 30 years. With increasing demand for industrial AI systems in the market, we are honoured to be able to show our added value and participate in the AI Ecosystem landscape that Advantech has built.

“We believe this partnership with Advantech will strengthen the relationship and position in the industrial AI market. Collaboration is key to growth,” concludes Erik Seijner.
