OSPITEK INC., the developer of the proprietary Digital Health platform VIEW, has partnered with Ohio’s BEST Health System to implement the VIEW software platform in BEST’s outpatient surgical centres. The VIEW platform is a cloud-based software and IoT enhanced, Ambulatory Surgery Centre (ASC) management and communication platform, designed for rapid adoption to compliment legacy EHR and Health IT systems in ASC’s and Surgeon offices. With this partnership, Ospitek’s cutting edge technology will be immediately available in all BEST surgical centres.

Specialising in Total Joint replacements in Orthopaedic, Spine, and Interventional (opioid sparing) Pain procedures, Ophthalmology, Plastics, and Podiatry; Ohio’s BEST Health System is committed to patient-centric care and the delivery of engaged, customised, patient experiences.

Understanding the importance of the right technology to support patient pathway management and the continued success of BEST Surgical Centres, this partnership will immediately empower the BEST Health system with live visualisation tools, IoT driven automation, and AI insights.

Janet Carlson, president of BEST Health System, had this to say about the partnership. “This initiative to partner with Ospitek is a critical component of our mission to go above and beyond for our patients, providers, and teammates. Since the pandemic, streamlined patient engagement and communication platforms like Ospitek are essential to make things easier for patients to manage their care episode in a secure manner. This is a trustworthy and reliable digital service to improve patient outcomes, patient experience, and patient satisfaction. We are excited to take our excellent patient care outcomes to the next level at BEST Health System.”

By complimenting BEST’s existing systems, the Ospitek VIEW platform will enable the immediate adoption of features including live surgical case coordination, responsive engagement tools, and automated performance reporting features, all of which will enhance operational efficiencies for day of surgery coordination, patient and caretaker communication, and staff planning.
