Actility, Cloud Studio deliver two IoT solutions for waste management, indoor air quality

Actility and Cloud Studio have announced the introduction of two solutions designed to leverage the use of IoT to improve waste management, and indoor air quality. Actility and Cloud Studio aims to create a more sustainable and healthy world.

Cloud Studio offers a hardware-agnostic cloud solution that is customisable, low-code, and white-labeled: Gear Studio platform. This platform is ideal for creating real-time monitoring and control dashboards, digital twins, and condition-based monitoring. It is integrated with ThingPark Enterprise, making customers benefit from interoperability and connectivity solutions that are certified and compatible with LoRaWAN standards.

The ThingPark Enterprise platform, accessible through ThingPark Community for free, provides a reliable LoRaWAN connectivity infrastructure that enables enterprises to easily build a multi-gateway network and feed data to IoT applications while streamlining IoT network operations.

Smart waste management made easy with IoT kit

Addressing the pressing issue of waste management, Actility and Cloud Studio have introduced IoT waste management solution. This kit employs technology to monitor fill levels in various waste containers, such as trash cans and dumpsters, with high precision and remote capabilities.

When containers approach full capacity, the system triggers alarms to alert cleaning personnel, enabling prompt action to be taken. This proactive approach prevents overflows, reduces costs, energy consumption, decreases carbon emissions, and promotes a cleaner environment. The waste management solution is an intuitive, precise, and plug-and-play monitoring solution that interacts with humans and machines to understand the customer’s environment and context, ensuring data qualifications for optimal waste management.

Breathing easy with IoT: The indoor air quality monitoring kit

Actility and Cloud Studio brings the IoT indoor air quality monitoring solution, a reliable way to monitor CO2 concentration, temperature, humidity, and occupancy levels in real-time. By triggering automatic alerts, this solution helps ensure that appropriate actions are taken to optimise indoor air quality and reduce the risk of virus transmission.

This accurate and flexible solution can be customised to fit the needs of various indoor environments. Utilising advanced data analytics, it provides valuable insights to improve indoor air quality, enhancing occupant health and productivity.

In a world increasingly reliant on technology, Actility and Cloud Studio are developing solutions that not only address present challenges but also lay the groundwork for a more sustainable future.
