Nokia announces New Wi-Fi and fibre solutions at Network X 2024

As the Network X 2024 wraps up, Nokia has announced their new digital automation cloud Wi-Fi solution as well as the expansion of their fibre access portfolio.

Nokia has chosen to enrich its Digital Automation Cloud Wi-Fi solution with Aprecomm’s AI-powered network performance-optimising capabilities. The new solutions will be available in the Nokia MX Industrial Edge (MXIE) application catalogue starting in the final quarter of 2024.

The company also introduced its Lightspan MF-8, expanding its 25/50/100G fibre access portfolio. The high-capacity fibre platform supports 10/25/50G and future 100G PON services, making it ideal for mid-size deployments such as cabinets, central offices and data centres. It ensures ultra-reliable performance with six-nines availability and offers high-end services without any single point of failure.

“The show floor is busy with networking, collaboration, and product development. We have seen several important announcements and product launches,” said Christopher Lycett, the event director of Network X. “This year has exceeded all expectations. We’re pleased to conclude the 2024 edition with over 15% attendee growth, a figure reflecting the increased number of visitors, exhibitors and speakers who participated. We’d like to extend our thanks and gratitude to all who contributed to this success and we look forward to welcoming the community back next year, from 14-16 October.”
