Lawrence, MA, USA. February 27, 2015 — Wyless today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Mike Coffey as president and CEO, effective immediately. He was previously the company’s president and COO.
Wyless chairman, Chris Lowery commented, “On behalf of the board, I welcome Mike’s appointment as our CEO and I look forward to continuing to work with him to further our impressive growth in the IoT (Internet of Things) industry. Mike’s team-based leadership approach will enable us to execute this roadmap and to continue Wyless’ rapid evolution as the leader in IoT Managed Services.”

Mike Coffey joined Wyless in August of 2014 and was appointed president and COO on October 1. He began his career as a technologist with ‘hands on’ roles spanning software development and networks, then spent the last decade in executive management roles in technology-enabled companies. His experience includes start-up to high revenue to public companies spanning SaaS, online technology, and niche business models. Mike is a Cum Laude BS of Computer Science from RPI in upstate New York.

Mike and his executive team from the United States, Europe, and Brazil will be at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona from March 2-5. He replaces former CEO, Dan McDuffie.
