Researchers raise privacy concerns about Bluetooth Low Energy in smartphones, fitness monitors and iBeacons

Researchers at Context Information Security have demonstrated how easy it is to monitor and record Bluetooth Low Energy signals transmitted by many mobile phones, wearable devices and iBeacons, including the iPhone and fitness monitors, raising concerns about privacy and confidentiality. SIGFOX, T-Mobile and Blue Cell partner for a new Czech IoT wireless network

T-Mobile and Blue Cell Network are partnering with SIGFOX to bring a wireless network dedicated to the Internet of Things to the Czech Republic.
