Singapore – The first ever Internet of Things (IoT) Asia event to be held at Singapore EXPO Convention & Exhibition Centre from April 21-22, 2014 will feature a slate of international and local speakers from leading companies in the IoT field. Jointly organised by Singapore Industrial Automation Association (SIAA) and Singex Exhibitions, the event has a confirmed speaker line-up of more than 40 industry experts and practitioners in the IoT & machine-to-machine (M2M) field.

Comprising a trade exhibition and conference, IoT Asia 2014 is the first event in the Asia Pacific region to bring IoT technologies, developers and providers to end-businesses, government agencies and the public, introducing a world of IoT-driven productivity and efficiency. The conference will feature dual-tracked programmes catering for IoT solution providers and also end-businesses in the retail, healthcare, smart city, transport, logistics, manufacturing and building industries.

Co-located with IoT Asia 2014 is the Intelligent Sensors, Sensor Networks and Information Processing (ISSNIP) Conference.

“The inaugural IoT Asia conference has been put together to feature experts in the field, inspiring case studies and learning opportunities as well as insights for stakeholders and consumers across the entire value chain, in view of the immense opportunities arising from IoT adoption in Asia,” says Dr. Tan Hwee Pink, Programme Manager (Sense and Sense-abilities) of the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R) and Chairman of the IoT Asia Conference Steering Committee.
