Alpha Micro Components is now distributing the first IoT (Internet of Things) modules to combine Bluetooth v4.0 and LoRa support in a single device, the Laird RM1 series.

Alpha Micro Components announced the availability of SARA-U201, the smallest cellular module available supporting 2G and 3G. The SARA-U201 is pin and form factor compatible with u-blox’s other region-specific 2G and 3G variants, such as the 2G SARA-G350, also available through Alpha Micro.
