IAG Cargo, the cargo division of International Airlines Group (IAG) joins the CargoAi platform. CargoAi is an artificial intelligence-enabled airfreight platform that connects freight forwarders and airlines. With thousands of flights per week across the globe, IAG Cargo’s addition to CargoAi means a significantly broadened offer for forwarders using the platform.

The Internet of Things (IoT) promises more flexibility and functionality for enterprises than ever before. More connected devices hold the promise of helping enterprises streamline supply chain operations, increase efficiencies and reduce costs within existing processes, enhance product and service quality, and even create new products and services for customers.

Call me a cynic, says IoT industry observer and freelance writer Nick Booth, but something about the recent British Airways computer meltdown doesn’t add up.
