Deutsche Telekom and Software AG have announced a strategic partnership to deliver IoT services on a global scale. Deutsche Telekom and its enterprise customer unit T-Systems will expand their Cloud of Things offering, using Software AG’s Cumulocity IoT platform.

Increase in productivity and reduction of maintenance costs – these are the main two drivers for companies to use IoT in an industrial setting, as the Industry of Things World Survey Report 2016 found out.

Cumulocity’s Cloud Field Bus solution aims to simplify the real-world concerns of customers connecting their “machines” in an easy and productive way.
