Fleet Xpress

Vallianz Holdings, an established provider of offshore marine and engineering solutions for the global energy industry, is accelerating the digitalisation of its fleet of offshore support vessels (OSV) with a comprehensive package of connectivity services from Inmarsat, the world provider in global, mobile satellite communications.

Inmarsat and Rolls-Royce have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to have the option to make the Rolls-Royce Energy Management system available via Inmarsat Maritime’s Fleet Xpress high-speed broadband service, to reduce energy consumption and support environmental compliance.

Inmarsat, a provider of global mobile satellite communications services, has signed a five-year contract with Hapag-Lloyd to migrate all ships directly managed by the shipping line to services enabled for Fleet Xpress.

Inmarsat and Ericsson have signed a strategic maritime agreement that is intended to facilitate the sharing of cargo, logistics and vessel operational data to help streamline the entire maritime supply chain.
