Beaverton, US, 10 March 2023 – G.hn technology helps industrial networks overcome traditional digitalissation challenges by ensuring reliable connectivity and maintaining the functionality of existing infrastructure, according to new Industry Research released by HomeGrid Forum today.

The demand for smart cities across the world has led the HomeGrid Forum to expand its work for 2019 into smart grids, Internet of Things (IoT), connected cars, and Visible Light Communication (VLC).

HomeGrid Forum has announced that MaxLinear has joined AT&T, BT, CenturyLink, Marvell and Sigma Designs on the Board of Directors to help support the deployment of G.hn technology.

As a Promoter Member, the company will participate in HomeGrid’s various working groups over a wide range of activities – from standards work, compliance and interoperability, to marketing and events.
