G4S Utility Services

London, UK. 06 July 2012 – Telefónica, which operates under the O2 brand in the UK, has agreed to further extend the partnership with G4S Utility Services (G4S) a leading international security solutions group and one of the UK’s major smart meter operations service providers.

G4S Utility Services is to provide Macquarie with a fully accredited meter asset provider (MAP) system with an ongoing data management service.

Mobile operator O2 has signed a multi-million pound contract with UK smart meter operations service provider G4S Utility Services to simplify the remote management and monitoring of the company’s national smart meter network.
