#HyperCatCity (#HCC), has opened a new accelerator at the Urban Innovation Centre (UIC), run by Future Cities Catapult, in London. Its backers include Innovate UK, the Mayor of London’s Office, the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation, BT, Cisco, Flexeye, KPMG, Symantec and WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.

The #HyperCatCity programme’s collaborative approach and open standards aim to make it faster and easier for developers to deliver smart city solutions that improve the lives of citizens.
