Recognising individuals who have significantly contributed to the development and standardisation of the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem, oneM2M has announced that it has awarded three of its members with Technical Excellence Awards.

Critical data from oneM2M’s successful smart city deployments will be used in the WISE-IoT Consortium’s IoT4Tourism Hackathon. The Hackathon will be held at the IEEE ICCE Berlin Conference, in conjunction with the IFA consumer electronics fair, which will be held September 3-4, 2017.
