M2M Adoption Barometer

Sometimes we hacks (and probably some readers too) are swayed by a big headline. So when there isn’t an eye-popping conclusion, says Jeremy Cowan, a report can be dismissed as inconsequential. That might have been the temptation with yesterday’s Vodafone M2M Barometer 2015, but it would have been a mistake.

London, UK. July 3, 2014 — Vodafone today published its second annual ‘M2M Adoption Barometer’, a global survey of the machine-to-machine (M2M) market, which finds that M2M adoption has increased by more than 80%, with over a fifth of companies now actively using the technology.
