Telefónica has launched its Global M2M Module Certification Programme. The global mobile network operator has enrolled “best in class machine-to-machine (M2M) cellular module vendors” and is collaborating with them to certify their M2M products.

China Unicom, through cooperation with Telefónica, has proven a solution for remote management of embedded SIM subscriptions data based on the principles of the embedded SIM that is being developed by the GSMA.
