Six Scottish local authorities alongside Scotrail, Blackwood Homes and Care and Borders College are set to benefit from a new Internet of Things (IoT) trial which has the potential to transform the experience of people who live within communities across the country. As natural beauty spots across Scotland have seen an unprecedented surge in visitors amid the pandemic, the Cairngorms National Park Authority (CNPA) is working with North, the UK’s IoT service and solutions provider, to accrue and access data that will help manage surges of tourism in a sustainable way.
